A great post over at The Gospel Coalition on how a leader is always in the public eye & can never relax. I've noticed this myself. One of my church people mentioned in passing how he watched me as I interacted with a visitor. And just this week, I kicked myself when I made a comment as a joke, only to have it taken seriously - but thankfully the person asked, so I could backpeddle.
1 Peter 4:11a: If anyone speaks, he should do it as one speaking the very words of God.
